My Brother's Keeper Portage is part of a national program designed to ensure that all young people can reach their full potential by addressing the opportunity gaps faced by boys and young men of color through place-based change. With a focus on literacy, MBK has four key objectives: enter school ready to learn, read at grade level by 3rd grade, graduate from high school, and remain safe from violent crime.
